If you aren’t familiar with the Nikon Coolpix P950, it’s a super zoom bridge camera that was released by Nikon in 2020. It quickly gained kind of a cult following status for it’s class-leading 24-2000mm zoom lens (outdone only by Nikon’s own P1100 that has a 24-3000mm zoom).
Given its age, it makes sense to ask if this is still a competitive camera in 2025? Who is the ideal buyer of this camera and what are its limitations? What is the physical handling like and does it have a place in your own camera collection?
